World Laureates Summit (“WLS”) 2026
Envisioned as one of the world’s foremost and largest gatherings of leading scientists.
Amid global health crises, climate change, and geopolitical tensions, the world faces profound changes and development challenges. At this crossroads, basic science stands as the common denominator uniting humanity in shaping a new future.

On February 1–3, 2026, the World Laureates Summit (WLS), hosted by the World Laureates Association (WLA) and co-hosted by the World Governments Summit Organization (WGSO), will convene in Dubai, UAE, under the theme “Basic Science, The Scientific Consensus for Addressing Humanity’s Challenges.” This landmark gathering will unite leaders from government and science to confront humanity’s shared challenges. On February 3, the World Laureates Summit (WLS) and the World Governments Summit (WGS) will come together in an unprecedented convergence of science, industry, and government. This will be an unprecedented dialogue at the highest level of government and science, designed to forge global consensus and infuse scientific rigor and foresight into the future of global governance.
